My name is Randy, and I have had battles with plantar fasciitis, shin splints, and heel spurs off and on for several years. I am athletic and active by nature, and this has probably prolonged the condition with me more than what a lot of people would experience. I have been through a lot of doctor visits, therapy, treatments, periods of rest, you name it. But I have learned to control the condition pretty well by using a variety of techniques.
It is important for me to emphasize that I am NOT a physician! So nothing in these pages should be considered a diagnosis for any individual’s specific condition. Instead, this is more of an online reference for the experiences that I have gone through.
